Fit Minute – Upright Row

Fit Minute – Upright Row

In this Fit Minute Friday segment, Nancy shows you how to get great shoulders with proper form.  I will admit it…I love working on my shoulders and this is one of my favorite exercises. This exercise hits the anterior, medial and posterior deltoid muscles.  Put your feet apart and have soft knees.  Hold the dumbbells with palms facing the body.  Lift your arms so that your elbows flare out and are higher than hands.  Use a one count up and a three count down. The dumbbells should end up about chest level.  It is important to keep the wrists straight. When lifting the weights keep them close to your body.   #FitMinute
