Simulated Dip

Simulated Dip

In this quick video tutorial, Nancy covers her favorite tricep exercise called the “simulated dip”.  #ProperForm

The simulated dip is a compound movement that hits the entire tricep.  You have two options with this exercise.  Straight leg simulated tricep dip is a little more difficult.  If you would like another option, you can bend your knees.  In both positions you should keep your body close to the bench as you lower down.  Keep your elbows nice and tight to your body.  Do a slow count as you lower your body down 3-2-1 then burst up, driving through the heels of your hands.  If you feel strain through your shoulders, you can reduce your range of motion.
