#WalkWithMe
June, it is the meteorological start of summer. With the four warmest months of the year directly out in front of us, it fills a person with absolute joy and anticipation of the F-U-N to be had outdoors. That fun happens on patios, boats and docks around our part of the country. Quickly our weeknights and weekends fill up. Cabin schedules are coordinated with graduation open houses and athletic tournaments. We want to soak up as much Vitamin D as possible to help keep us hopeful throughout the long winter. Geez, I can’t believe I just said “winter” out loud. My most sincere apologies! Back to S-U-M-M-E-R.
After going out for a walk on a particularly beautiful day, a couple of weeks ago, I couldn’t believe how good I felt during and after the walk. The sounds and smells of summer were everywhere. It was then that I decided to enjoy as much outdoor time as possible this summer. If you are looking for some motivation, I am inviting YOU to walk with ME once each week. If you live locally, I will give details for a location somewhere in the Minneapolis St. Paul area, right here on the blog. The plan is to vary the time and day, so that we can accommodate different work schedules. Be sure to register right here, so you don’t miss any announcements.
If you don’t live locally, fear not!! We can have a virtual walk! Grab a friend (and your phone) and get out there! I want to see pictures of your favorite paths. More importantly I want to hear your stories.
So friends, show me those shoes and tell me where they are taking you!
